  Called in AM to confirm product in 20L pail would be available for a job same day. Was told it was available off the shelf. Arrived at the store front and spoke with front desk reception (very nice to deal with) and found they had misquoted me earlier and that they did not have the specific product i required in 20 litre pails, only in drums. They did however offer a similar product available on the shelf in 20 litre pails. was able to confirm this similar product would work in the equipment and agreed to take the alternative. After waiting for 45 minutes for warehouse to bring oil up, was told the alternative product they showed as in stock was not in the warehouse. Since i spent 2 hours at the store with a crew of 7 guys waiting for me on site, I figured I would ask if they could make it right, break open a drum and sell me the original quoted oil in pail form. The guy in the office behind the front desk gave the smartass remark "yep, pay 2000 dollars for the drum and we will give you a pail."
  Now, I am in industry, I sell oil and parts daily. I understand when things aren't in stock, misquoted or are ghost inventory and you have wasted a guy’s time. you apologise, give alternatives and say "we hope you will come back for any future needs" to try and preserve any future business. But to insult me with a remark like that after i spent 2 hours trying to give this place money, absolutely confounded me. I will not be going back.
